Аннотация
Целиакия является одним из древнейших заболеваний человека, зародившимся в эпоху неолита, с приходом в жизнь человека культуры земледелия. Более чем за 10 тыс. лет целиакия прошла путь от неизвестной и пугающей «чревной болезни» до одной из наиболее распространенных генетически детерминированных патологий с детально изученным патогенезом и эффективным способом лечения. Согласно современным эпидемиологическим данным частота целиакии в мире в среднем составляет 1%, при этом большинство случаев заболевания остаются нераспознанными. С учетом полиморфизма клинических проявлений программа выборочного скрининга на целиакию среди пациентов, имеющих определенные настораживающие симптомы, оправдала себя лишь частично. Большинство экспертов указывают на необходимость проведения универсального массового скрининга для эффективного выявления малосимптомных форм целиакии и своевременного начала диетотерапии во избежание грозных осложнений заболевания.
