Аннотация
Обеспечение должного качественного уровня жизни пожилого населения, доля которого в мире постоянно возрастает благодаря снижению заболеваемости и уровня инвалидизации гериатрических пациентов, является одной из основных задач современной системы здравоохранения. Вместе с тем изменения, ассоциированные со старением организма, обусловливают необходимость не только применения новых подходов к коррекции фармакотерапии, но и использования специально подобранных лекарственных форм, как обеспечивающих соответствующий терапевтический эффект, так и максимально облегчающих их использование. В представленном обзоре рассмотрен ряд особенностей фармакотерапии пациентов старческого и пожилого возраста.
