Аннотация
В статье освещены этапы становления и развития колоноскопии от самых ранних исследований прямой кишки до современной видеоэндоскопии. Развитие технологий визуализации позволило улучшить раннюю диагностику и верификацию колоректального рака и воспалительных заболеваний кишечника, скрининг новообразований толстой кишки. Более того, стало возможным проведение малоинвазивных вмешательств – взятие биопсии и выполнение полипэктомии. Рассмотрели перспективные направления совершенствования метода и его место в клинической практике.
