В статье представлены данные о современном состоянии проблемы йодного дефицита, а также негативном влиянии йододефицитных заболеваний на здоровье беременных женщин и детей, освещены методы йодной профилактики. Ключевые слова: йодный дефицит, йододефицитные заболевания, беременность и йододефицитные состояния, массовая и групповая йодная профилактика.

The article presents data on the current state of the problem of iodine deficiency, as well as negative impact of iodine deficiency on the health of pregnant women and children, covering methods of iodine prophylaxis.
