Диабетология является одним из наиболее динамично развивающихся разделов эндокринологии. Настоящая публикация посвящена мини-
обзору основных направлений совершенствования медицинской помощи детям и подросткам с диабетом. Вместе с тем в статье представлены ключевые понятия в отношении данной патологии, необходимые для умения врачей-педиатров диагностировать сахарный диабет, контролировать метаболические показатели и иметь представление о современных достижениях детской диабетологии. Приведены собственные клинические наблюдения детей с неиммунными (моногенными) вариантами сахарного диабета.

Diabetology is one of the most dynamically developing part of endocrinology. This article is dedicated to a short review of the new and modern technologies in the improvement of medical care to children and adolescents with diabetes. The key points of diagnostics and treatment of the diabetes in children and adolescents that need to pediatricians are presented as well. Own experience of the administration of patients with monogenic diabetes is described.
