Аннотация
Уильям Ослер – один из наиболее почитаемых и влиятельных врачей в англоязычной медицине конца XIX – начала XX в., который внес огромный вклад в развитие медицинской науки и системы ее преподавания. Масштабы его многогранной личности выходят далеко за пределы характеристик выдающегося врача и ученого. В данном историческом очерке представлены различные аспекты личности У. Ослера, подчеркивающие его уникальность как врача, педагога и философа.
