Adnexal neoplasms are the common cutaneous proliferations that originate from sweat grands, sebaceous glands, and hair follicle. In the present article we will start to discuss benign proliferations from sweat grands. Although historically subdivided into apocrine and eccrine, this distinction is rarely possible. Some sweat neoplasms are important to know because they are seen in genetic syndromes with systemic involvement. Due to the large number of the sweat neoplasms they would be discussed in separate chapters.
