Статья содержит анализ наиболее частых причин кашля, алгоритм диагностики заболевания, современные возможности оценки кашля, а также ключевые рекомендации по выбору, применению, режиму дозирования муколитических препаратов. Особое внимание уделено детской форме ацетилцистеина. Ключевые слова: кашель, причины кашля, диагностика кашля, лечение кашля, ацетилцистеин, амброксол.

The article contains an analysis of the most frequent causes of cough, an algorithm for diagnosing the disease, modern possibilities for assessing cough, and key recommendations for the selection, use, dosing regimen of mucolytic drugs. Particular attention is paid to the child form of acetylcysteine. Key words: cough, causes of cough, diagnosis of cough, cough treatment, acetylcysteine, ambroxol.
